Get Your Brand On (GYBO) was formed 3BC (three years before Covid-19) with a family conversation about how to help a young man, a son, a grandson, and a nephew, find his place in the world and build a meaningful future.

During that conversation, Brad’s brother-in-law, Kevin, offered his old, trusted Mimaki vinyl cutter as a way to start small and grow with purpose. At the same time, Brad’s mother, Cynthia, affectionately known as the Godmother, already had a registered company in place, all that was needed was a clear vision and, as always, a great deal of hard work.

And with that, Get Your Brand On was born.

Kevin and Belinda, owners of RA Signs, one of Port Elizabeth’s most respected signage companies, played a pivotal role in GYBO’s journey. They opened their doors, shared their knowledge, and personally trained the GYBO team in all aspects of signage fabrication and installation. Their guidance and ongoing support helped GYBO grow from strength to strength, and we remain deeply grateful for the role they played in shaping the business we are today.
